Amy's 29th Birthday

I had a perfect weekend celebrating the start of my last year in my twenties! Weekends like these make me so thankful for the wonderful family and friends that I have in my life. Good food, good people, and a little painting - who could ask for more?!?

Michael's Birthday...the Big 3-0!

On July 14th, Michael turned THIRTY - the big 3-0 - Whoop! We had already had a birthday celebration with his family last weekend, and we have a party planned with our friends in a few weeks. So for the night of his actual birthday, we celebrated as a family by grilling out and watching a movie! Here are some photos from our little celebration the night of his birthday!

Bell Family Weekend of Fun

During the second weekend of July, Michael's sister Emily and her family came to Kansas City for a week-long visit! Because they are from Virginia, we only get to see them 2-3 times per year. So when they do make it in to KC, it is always a whirlwind of family fun! This year's Bell Family Weekend of Fun included a barbeque, swimming at the Great Wolf Lodge, a Royals game, and 2 birthday celebrations! All in all, it was an exhaustingly fun couple of days, but I wouldn't have it any other way! It was so awesome to have Adalee get to play with her cousins, and it was great spending time catching up amongst the adults!
